Steel is a very strong building material. The use of steel allows for spanless construction, which means that there is no need to support the roof with load-bearing walls or columns-the steel frame is strong enough to be done by itself. The clear span design of the building can range from 150 feet to 250 feet wide without any obstacles.
If your building needs to be wider than 250 feet, you can place a load-bearing column in the center of the building and leave a 250-foot clear span on each side of the center column. In this way, the steel structure warehouse or distribution center can actually reach the size that the business needs, and if more space is needed, you can always add another 250 feet of additional space in the building (with another central Uprights). future.
These buildings can also be up to 40 feet tall, leaving more space for stacked pallets. If companies want to add sprinkler systems within the building, such as overhead cranes, they can also design the ceiling structure to withstand greater weight.
Customizable
We provide standard size building plans for steel structure warehouses of various lengths, widths and heights. But as mentioned above, our prefab warehouse is customizable-if you need more space than one of our standard suites, our team of designers can draft a plan for you.
